Heckler & Koch G36 is a German-made assault rifle manufactured by Heckler & Koch.It was designed in 1990 as a replacement for the G3 rifle. The project was called HK 50. In 1995, it was included as a service rifle in the armament of the German army (Bundeswehr). Today it is used by many other armies (mainly special forces) and police forces not only in Europe but also in America.
